An upcoming sitcom about two men who disguise themselves as women in order to get jobs is causing an outcry. It is accused of being sexist and transphobic. It has been condemned by the LGBT rights group the Human Rights Campaign (HRC) and the Gay and Lesbian Alliance Against Defamation (GLAAD) a watchdog group that aims to encourage "fair and accurate" media portrayals of LGBT people and the Transgender Law Center teamed up and the San Francisco LGBT Community Center and the Transgender Economic Empowerment Initiative. A petition has been created to convince ABC to never air the show. One of the commentator remarks that ignoring the controversy he finds the show to be poorly made and that its low-quality will lead to a short life. I wonder if the outcry will work in the show's favor or not.

To be honest this is playing on a fact of life, seeing the funny side of it.
If anything I think it will be god damn hilariouse, I think people are too touchy these days. Its a stigma that the worl needs to loose.

It's dumb for groups to make a fuss about shit like this. All it's going to do is make more people want to watch the show...I doubt I would have even heard of this show had it not been for this outcry.

That's the most inane tagline for a show I've heard for a long time. In fact it kind of pisses me off for that reason alone.

I'm usually an advocate of letting shit like this go, but this is just...tasteless. I dunno, I can't quite place it. It's going to flop miserably anyway.
