I don't really know how to start this off, because this is my first thread since I joined. Right now my Grannie is ill and my dad just left at about 8:00 because she took a turn for the worst.
I guess I really don't know what to feel. And right now I have no one to talk to about this so here I am. I don't know if she's close to dying or what. I just don't know anymore. If she does pass, I'll be so mixed up if it happens on Christmas or in the days before or after.

Thanks for taking the time to read this and taking the time to care.

I'm sorry that your grandmother is not feeling well. She is in my prayers and I hope that she will be alright. Keep your head up. Don't be afraid to share whatever it is on your mind. We are here to help, and be a support system for you. Talking about your feelings is a very good way of dealing with them.

Okay your best bet is to talk to your dad first find out whats going on before you start to scare yourself. She may be ok. If it isn't good news you have time to prepare I guess, and say goodbye.

Dont expect too much from yourself, no one knows how to cope with a loved one being ill. Feeling mixed up would be perfectly normal. Feeling nothing normal too. I guess all you can do right now is talk about it on here, to your family whatever and find out what is going on. You have my sympathies, I'm here to listen if you need anything. :hug3:

Welcome back :)

All we can do is hope and *pray (I'll do that, even if you aren't a Christian) but, to be honest, I'm not sure what to say. How long has she been like this? Does she do this a lot? Have you never talked to anyone about it?
