It's also possible to overdose on alcohol, while impossible to overdose on marijuana (unless you decide to inject pure THC just for the fun of it). In addition, alcohol can cause more widespread bodily damage to the liver, brain and kidneys. Marijuana MIGHT damage the lungs if smoked heavily and chronically. It could also acutely impair brain function... But unlike with alcohol, there's not really good evidence to support the theory that marijuana can cause permanent impairment of the brain.

I would have to say alcohol. Getting high from weed is generally relaxed, while getting drunk can be pretty wild. Drunk people tend to do very stupid things, which can be very dangerous. Alcohol can lead to liver damage, and other internal problems. Also, alcohol poisoning is a very serious matter which can lead to death - if you smoke too much marijuana you'll lay down and take a nap.

i agree with beans, alcohol can really mess you up, but weed just chills you out, i mean yea, if you smoke it too often, you can damage your lungs, but marijuana has ben proven not to cause cancer, and it makes you feel good, where as alcohol is a depresent

They get this from being very misinformed about the subject as a whole, but they think its true for the most part - when in reality it is very inaccurate and they continue to spread the misinformation.

I dont think this guy knows what pots are. I live in humboldt county and weed is alot more available than alchohol and we smoke every day. 2 of my friends have gotten alchohol poisoning and had to go to hospital and almost died but nobody has gotten any health issues from weed which we smoke as often as cigarettes. I like the feeling from alchohol alot more probably because i have less of a tolerance to it. Weed never gives u hangovers either just makes you sleepy as fuck which is good thing sometimes

But weed can cause mental illnesses that might increase the chances of teen suicides. Weed isnt as innocent as it sounds, its fucked me up and my boyfriend compeltley, our lifes have changed and we are both a mess if we dont smoke. We both smoke the days away, day after day.
