Anyway. Im 15, my girlfriend is 17, soon to be 18. When she turns 18 we will be together for about 8 months. Does that mean its legal because we were dating before she turned 18? If it is illegal, what could happen, nothing unless someone "turns us in"?

There's nothing wrong with dating a minor, it's having sex with a minor. This is seen as statutory rape and is illegal.

The only way that you all could get into trouble is if sexual contact is made and someone reports it. Even if it is reported, the parents of the minor would most likely have to press charges for anything to happen. The best course of action would be to talk to your parents about it, that is if they are okay with sex. Otherwise, abstinence may be a good course of action as well.
