So i've got this problem..

A friend of mine asked me about my sexual orientation.. and i'm honestly not really sure. So he told me to do what he did:

I tried a little experiment.. First i watched straight porn , got a boner and j/o. then I watch gay porn , got a boner and j/o.. My friend told me he only got turned on by the straight porn, so he's straight (that his opinion) And there's this guy at school that I find atractive, and i;ve had these fantasies about this guy, if you know what I mean.. Then there's this girl and it's the exact same thing and i'm just confused.

Are this hormones? Am I gay or something? Am I just loosing my mind? Don't get me wrong, that's just it, it's that guy. I get sick when i try imagining another guy (if you know what i mean)...

So, i clearly need some help.. please...

this isn't really a question for straight guys if you ask me your just trying to get the answer you wanna hear. If you ask me I'd say your bi, but only time will tell. Don't bother with labels at 16 if you confused it helps to figure things out if you go into it with out the connotation of labels. Remember that most people are bisexual to a point, and that guys just won't admit it because they don't want to be seen as less of a man.

Dude, I don't even know where to start to help, seeing that your issue is pretty baffling to understand, which has accidentally striggered confusion to me, as well. I mean you say you made an experiment in which you watched both classes of porn, straight, and gay, and thereby you got boners by both. Also, you confess you feel some kind of attraction to certain boy from your school, imagining fantasies with him, but even so, you strongly assert not to be gay---- But let me tell you that many guys have come up with this same deal. They allege not be gay,s but think and imagine with them, though. So I mostly don't bother myself responding; even though, as for you, I figure your place is kind of clear, according to what you've told. Thus, I just can deduce you're a little bi by now. And then you'll see. You'll surely get straight. :). And one last thing, Puberty knows no bounds to anything. Lols

It's the hormones. I'm straight because overall i feel more attracted to girls and it feels more natural to me. I could imagine having sex with a guy, but never a relationship or anything like that. It would be completely sexual and I don't think I;d feel okay with that. I've had fantasies about a few select guys at my school, but that's about it. I can watch straight and gay porn, but it doesn't affect my sexual orientation.

For myself, the main attraction to males is sexually related. I have never felt anything emotional towards a man. I have, however, been physically attracted to several men, including men in porn videos, or movie stars. I've also had fantasies about certain guys I know. In my opinion, this doesn't make me gay, because in order to be gay, I need a physical and emotional attraction to males.

Ah yes, this happened to me a couple years back - the answer to the whole thing's deceptively simple: its just a phase, thanks to those pesky hormones.

The whole question of 'sexual orientation' ain't nowhere near as clean-cut as society seems to think. The human mind just doesn't work in black & white, least of all when you're in your mid-teens.

The way I see it, the only way you'll establish which way you swing for certain is when you get into a serious relationship (normally either in junior/senior year or at college). Til then, its not really something worth worrying about. Don't let fantasies freak you out.
