I really love classic rock like The Beatles, Zeppelin, Aerosmith, Queen, etc. ANd punk like the ramones and the dead kennedy's and the clash, to name a few. Most people I know act like that's ridiculous and give me crap for it. I'm pretty into my music though....I listen to some newer music but not much, I'm not a hipster but a lot of the "mainstream" music bugs me. Anyone else like this? :)

I don't discriminate against music just because it's "old." That's nonsense. I don't understand people who strive to only listen to the most recent music they're exposed to. And people who say they don't like old music, well, you just haven't found the right bands.
Most of my music is 90s and 00s though, but I like stuff like David Bowie, Depeche Mode, The Cure, This Mortal Coil, and Kate Bush, with the occasional Beatles nowadays (my girlfriend got me into it >.<), Eurythmics, Pink Floyd, Queen...

I'm quite like you
I like a lot of older songs more like 90's though. But I do enjoy the Beatles, Aerosmith, AC/dc and what not occasionally :)

I listen to whatever i like, i don't care if it's 60's 70's 80's 90's or now. i have a list of probably 30 bands i listen to, with most being 80's - 90's bands. I am the type of guy that doesn't like tons and tons of bands, but the bands i like, i absolutely love, i will listen to them religiously, do research on the band, buy the albums and concert dvd's and just adore them. I don't like to be one of those people that has 80 - 100 singers and bands that i like, but only know a couple of songs from each of them, i'm the complete opposite.
Some of the older stuff i listen to is:
The Beatles
Johnny Cash
Creedence Clearwater Revival
Frank Sinatra
Elvis'
Michael Jackson
Stevie Wonder
Black Sabbath
Led Zeppelin
The list goes on, but there some of the older stuff i listen to and love.

Everything Krautrock, or Psychedelic rock from the 70s and 60s. That's what I consider old, and that's what I like.

Psychedelic Rock is where it's at OP. But my list won't be exclusive to Psychedelic music only.

I was literally raised on stuff like Styx, Boston, and The Beatles. My dad is a classic rock buff, so that's basically why. Since then, my musical tastes have evolved into much heavier genres, like symphonic metal, but I still have a deep attachment to classic rock, especially The Beatles.

Same here Sapphire, I mean most of the bands I listen to I got into more when I got older and looked up my own music, but Tose three bands got played a lot for me when I was a kid, the Beatles will always be my favorite band because I've listened to them since the moment I was born xD

Most of the music I listen to was made in the 90s, but I do listen to a lot of stuff from the 70s and 80s. Not so much the 60s though, damn hippies.
Queen will always remain my favorite band, and I also love Zeppelin, Aerosmith and most heavier classic rock. Old punk was great too, especially love The Sex Pistols!

The newest music i really listen to is Coldplay... They aren't as heavily autotuned as many, and they actually play their own instruments and not use the fake drum tracks and what not. But yes, i love Pearl Jam, Aerosmith, Boston, Black Sabbath, The Stones (if you dont know who i mean by that, you obviously don't listen to this kind of music), and a lot of U2.
