I stutter and it really drives me crazy. But if I talk in a different accent then I dont. Um... I especially do it when I talk to people. Like my mom or friends. It just really pisses me off!!!

When I Sing a song while im driving or in my room, I never stutter. Unless I try to talk to someone. Thats part of the reason why I hardly ever talk to anybody at school. I have friends thank God. Im am not gonna be like Hui Seung Cho or however you say his name. Or if I do talk and a try to say a certain word I get a block.

I don't really stutter, but i do get that where i am in the middle of a sentence and can't think of the next word, though i know that i've used it like 10 mins before. really annoys me, my friends all laugh at that.

Sometimes I get VERY nervous and I know what I want to say, but it comes out has half on word that I was going to use and half the other and I get laughed at. My teacher made me go to speach class for it. I only did it in front of my ppeers so my mom got really mad and pulled me out of speech class. Ever since I've always had to speek out in front of the class because of it. I don't like to speek in front of people. Especialy people who I see often but aren't my own family. I don't tend to speak out unless it's an important issue. Debate team I'm great and never studder, but reading a book report in front of the class....eehhh. I think it's natural. You just forget what words to say or have too many so you say half and half and it come out giberish. lol

Think about what you are gonna say before you start the sentance and then talk slow. I have this problem too. I am talking so fast and im thinking soo fast that i cant get the words right. Its really embarrising!

A while back I was diagnosed as a 'severe stutterer'! But now I only make little clicking sounds when I stutter, but it's really embarrassing. So embarrassing, in fact, that it's made me think twice about saying things.
However, I know how to work around it, as I know what letters and sounds are the worst for me.

i always stutter when i talk to people i don't know , i'm fine when i'm with my friends or family, i know what i'm going to say but i only manage to half say the words and they come out wronge and as soon as i open my mouth my brain goes to mash and i sound like a 5 year old talking. i do panic alot of time when i'm in a situation with a stranger , becuase i do get very paranoid and i notice every single slight movement that the other person does, and i forget what i'm saying and blank out becuase i have a hundred other throughts going through my head at the time like omg what are they thinking .

for me its different. i stutter all the time... anywhere, talking to anyone. mostly, though, it happens when i am speaking in a foreign language (most prominently french).
it was hard at first, always stuttering, always being teased, always having people finishing your sentences...... it just got annoying. anyway, now it's not as bad as before (see above post), and i am comfortable speaking, sometimes.
