Does this even matter? Sorry, but who cares!? I was circumcised as a baby just because they did it to all babies (unless their religion went against it) and I don't care either way. Besides, most women prefer circumsized men (read a few polls :D ).

huh? i thought the research shows that women prefer uncircumsized men...
however, a circummsized male has a lower chance of getting certain penis diseases...

You are more likely to get breast cancer than penis cancer. Penis cancer is crazy-rare. You have a similar chance of being struck by lightning. There isn't a medical association in the world that recommends circumcision, especially on such a minor benefit as that.
You can ask your parents if you want. It's a valid question. But even if they may not have been fully informed on the medical reasoning behind the decision, I'm sure they meant well. You may make them uncomfortable, because the truth is, it's often done based on tradition and "it didn't kill me, so why not?" mentality. But, again, it's not like they went "let's circumcise him to make him miserable." I'm opposed to infant male circumcision, but obviously most parents think they are doing the right thing, even if they are working on wrong information.
It's up to you. You have a right to ask. But you also have a right not to ask. Choose which one you're most comfortable with. :)

With proper hygiene and use of protection, diseases of the penis are extremely rare, regardless of circumcision status.
The chance of a botched circumcision is likely about the same as the chance of a disease being prevented by circumcision. It could even be higher, if you consider that certain circumcision mistakes aren't reported.
But, again, the VAST majority of men who do basic hygiene - circumised or not - will never have a problem.

thats more common than penis cancer ()
That doesn't have anything to do with being circumcised or not, but you're right - it's much more common than penis cancer.
(Sorry I'm not providing sources here, but I can't post links for another two posts. ;))

85% of the worlds male population is intact.
The US is the only Country that routinely circumcises their infant males.
Our country passed a bill to protect females from being sexually mutilated......WHY doesn't this bill protect males from being sexually mutilated. What they don't tell you...........
10,000 + specialized erotogenic nerve endings are permanently severed and lost
240 feet of microscopic nerves
12 square inches of tissue if unfolded
The males looses about 40 % of his sensitivity
209 baby boys die each year from circumcision and related complicationsIf I ever have a son
they won't get anywhere near him

maybe your parents just wanted you to be circumsised for medical reasons. Why are you complaining it makes your dick bigger

I'm not religious. It's become something that is more based on preference as oppose to religious views.
Personally, from what I've heard, being circumsized requires less cleaning. I'm circumsized, and don't ever have to roll anything back, so I kind of see it as a plus.
