We always tend to have the classic turkey, pigs in blankets, stuffing, and all the vegetables under the light along with sticky toffee pudding and Christmas cake for desert. Not really straying too far away from the norm... :P
I have a friend who is going to an Indian restaurant for Christmas lunch. One way to avoid washing up, I suppose.

It is usually different every year, but the main menu usually includes:
Ham and turkey
Homemade mashed potatoes
Sweet potatoes with marshmallows
and some kind of dessert, usually a pie.
There are other kinds of food, but I don't remember. :P
This year, I'm in charge of dessert for three houses. I am thinking about a peppermint cheesecake. :D

For lunch we usually have a smoked salmon that my uncle in Ireland often sends to us in a food hamper.
For dinner we have turkey or goose with stuffing, cranberry sauce (my contribution!) , mashed potatoes, vegetables (carrots, parsnips, broccoli, brussels sprouts) and then we have apple and pumpkin pie (I help with this) and then a plum pudding that we douse n brandy, set afire, and eat with copoius amounts of brandy butter. YUM!!!!!
