There is no age. Everyone develops at their own rate. Middle aged men could still be questioning their sexuality, and hence experiment with other men. It doesn't really matter.

It's uncommon above full physical maturity though (18-20+)

I would have to say probably after the teenage years (18+). After that you're either Bisexual or Gay.

The age that would come to mind would be 18, as this is really where puberty is coming to an end so it doesn't lean towards the people involved being gay. But if you're both OK with it then sure.

I believe that the main reasons for people to experiment are curiosity and hormones. So once both parties are no longer ridiculously curious and their hormones have calmed down, which probably equates to somewhere around 18-21.

Well men sometimes experiment with other men when they want to try new things so I'd say no age is really a limit. What you should be asking is what age not to experiment with is. You don't want to be a 18 year old experimenting with a 10 year old.

I would say that up until about 25, it doesn;t seem weird to experiment with friends. Although, by the time people get to college, they usually know if they're gay or not. At that point, it's not experimenting so much as... sex.

I didn't do anything with anyone til I was 17, so I dunno, not sure if its really a thing you can stick a maximum age on. Everyone should at least have the option of exploring their sexuality, regardless of age.

I'm just going to throw this out there, I know dudes who are 25 and could easily pass for 18. I also know guys that are 16 and never get checked for ID, and in Canada they ID anyone that looks younger than 25. So there is some serious variability in how someone looks and how old they actually are. If its the sex you are curious about, then you should be primarily attracted to their physicality. So if you wanna get it on with a grandpa then w/e, that's just your style. Its not like the guys that are just a bit older than you (18) aren't doing it.
