Muslim Dudes

A friend and I were working on a project for school about Islam and he said he found on some website that Muslims believe that body hair is unclean so they shave it off except for beards. I don't want to appear culturally insensetive, but there are no Muslims that I know of in northern Wisconsin, we are pretty much lily white mostly of Scandinavian heritage, and I'm just curious to know if this is true?? And if it is true how does that work when a Muslim dude hits puberty, does dad just watch and when he sees you growing pubes just teach you to shave? To me that seems kinda wierd, I can't imagine my dad teaching me to shave my pubes (although he did make a big deal out of teaching me to shave my face when he noticed hair start to come in there).

I Don't Think This Is True Because I Have Studied Islam For The Last 2 Years And No Where Have I seen It Say That. Also I Have Never Seen A Muslim With No Hair On Their Head, No Arm Hair And No Hair On Their Legs. Don't Believe Everything U Read On The Internet My Friend.

I've seen a few Muslims before and some of them were haaaaaairy people. I'm pretty sure a lot of middle easterners in general are hairy.
