Another internet censorship bill is going to be made since the previous one failed, and the law that allows military arrest of citizens without trial went through with a vote of 61/39. There is a media blackout with only a few stations speaking about this, why the fuck is this happening? Why would the government want America to become a police state? And mainly what does ROTW think about this?

It's a typical human instinct. Those in power aim to increase their power. Nothing really complicated about it; it's all about greed.

The only way to fix America's political system, at this point, would be to completely separate money and politics. Until then, the people who've been elected to office by the deluded public will continue to do the most reprehensible things to continue earning money and to appear favorable to the people for the next election. I'm pretty sure this new defense policy is being pushed through so Congress can look "tough on terrorism". It all started with the PATRIOT Act; it's all a result of a complete overreaction to 9/11 in an effort to appear patriotic.

Yes the senators. Theres been a new bill proposed allowing the US Military to act as a police force on home soil against US Citizens terrorizing or acting out against their country. Allowing them to arrest citizens indefinitely without trial.

Why would they need this unless they were planning something that might lead to a large number of people revolting?
