Freepoker.org: Is it legal?

Hey guys, me and my friends were playing poker at school and one of my friends say you can play poker online for free. and i found freepoker.org after getting home. i just want to know, is this site legal?

Well tell us what state and country you live in then a quick google search will tell if it's illegal or not. The bullshit with alot of restrictive American laws and the internet is you can play in person legally but online it's illegal even if no money is online.

In the U.S. online poker is currently illegal. It always has been. Recently in 2011 the department of justice shut down the major sites where poker was played. There are no longer any sites that you could get in trouble with. HOWEVER - if a site asks for your money, DO NOT TRUST IT. You likely will not get it back.
