What should i expect when i go to A&E for a overdose?
It says the most common side affects of overdosing it abdominol pain and vomiting?
They wouldnt need to pump my stomach for that would they?
And could someone tell me exacully what will happen if i end up needing to go?

They will only pump your stomach if your are not awake. Depending on how recent and severe the OD was they may give you a drink called active charcoal, its bitter and horrible and has some side affects that are not pleasant but not as bad as that of other drugs.
If the OD was a fair while ago then they will take a blood test 4 hours after you took the OD and depending on the results they will decide on the best course of treatment.
You will most likely have to stay in overnight maybe more, before you go home the hospital psych team will access you and determine where to go from there.
If you have OD'd its in your best interest to get to the hospital asap.

For me I just got given a blood test 4 hours after the OD as Nat said.
I was then in hospital doing nothing much for the best part of the next 24 hours. I had to see a counsellor in hospital and was referred to another counsellor for regular treatment.

I had my blood drawn about 4 times, then got sent to a psych ward for three days.
As for what it feels like, yes. It feels like someone filled your stomach with razor blades and then shook you like a rag doll. I didn't vomit, but I started foaming at the mouth because I couldn't breath. It's different for everyone deppending on what you take, I took a trank, so I was more or less parolized (couldn't move, talk breathe, etc).
I didn't get my stomach pumped.
You wouldn't be asking what happens when you survive an OD if you wanted to die right? So in that case, save yourself the pysical and emotional pain that goes with this and tell someone. That sounds canned but it's true.
Hope things get better for you <3
