I put a condom over my finger and lubed up well, just wondering if using a condom is safe, probably a stupid question but no idea whats safe and whats not, rather safe than sorry :)

Condom on your finger is one of the safer things that I've heard of people using. If you're just using your fingers then you don't need the condom, unless you want to keep cleaner than is necessary. As long as you don't use anything too wide, long or sharp you'll be fine.

Yup, a condom is safe, i have also used an exam glove before... i find them a little better fit for use and hygiene. just make sure you use a good lube (ky, astroglide, durex) if you can.

Some spermicides (nonoxyl 9 I think?) are not good for anal intercourse, can damage the sensitive lining so steer clear of those. But using a condom is one of the safer methods ive seen on here. :)

Do some googling over the safest condom types for anal as I can't really remember (and i'm in a gay relationship! Bah, not a very good bisexual am I?) ;)

You don't need condoms to try anal masturbation. You can use fingers, sharpies, any sort of similarly shaped object really, as long as it's not sharp. Condoms are just easier to use because; 1, they're designed to go into places like that so they're naturally lubed and whatnot and 2, it saves on cleanup time if you do everything with the condom because you can just bin it afterwards.

i've tried before with a glove, but even though i have long fingers, i don't know if i'm hitting my prostate. do you have to do it for a while before you feel anything or it starts to feel good?
