Anyone else have it...
I've had it for as long as I can remember, it's really messed up my life...I have no friends, I don't get along well with my family, and I hurt the one girl who showed any care for me...
They don't seem to understand me, or this "disorder"...I don't trust people, I dislike crowds, i'll have periods when I think i'm being followed or chased by something, I always keep my back to the wall, and i'm always analyzing what people say or do...
It sucks...Anyone else have it???

I have a personality disorder, but not PPD.
Are you diagnosed?

I was diagnosed with borderline personality disorder and paranoid personality disorder combined with severe depression and OCD.
I hate crowds. I hate grocery shopping because of my fear of being in someones way. I have a few friends, but I don't have anyone (besides my boyfriend) who I can talk to. I am very paranoid, always scared that people are lying to me, and I psychologically (sp?) analyze everyone I talk to.
I'm managing to leave most of my fear behind now, but it's very difficult. I foolishly started to cut myself in order to numb out my fears. (I do not promote this in anyway it is awful and does more harm then good and for some people can make the paranoia worse)
Now I just bury myself in writing and schoolwork. It works for me...
Sorry I don't have any advice for you. I'm not a medical professional but if you want to talk, I'm here.

I probably would be diagnosed with it if I were stupid enough to let someone I neither know nor trust diagnose me -again-. Besides, I have a good reason to be paranoid.
Anyhow, I can relate with you on many things. Disliking crowds, always analyzing what people say and do, always figuring out whether a situation is safe or not, and simply not trusting people. Again, I don't think I -should- trust people. If I let them in, bad things could happen -again-, and that is a risk I cannot take.
At any rate, I can relate with this perfectly well. I don't have any sound advice, however. If I had, I wouldn't have the same problems you have.
I wish you the best of luck.
Most sincerely,
Robert.
