I'm pretty sure ginger refers to red-heads (cuz theres a kid at my school with red hair nicknamed Ginger), but I'm not sure, maybe it could refer to very light brown too? But yeah what ever.. I'm pretty hairy and all my hair is dark brown.

Heh I do too. Ginger is red-headed, pale face, and I think freckles. Its like a derogatory word...
