This is pretty embarrassing to admit:
A few of the girls from the basketball team at my high school have been bullying me - like trying to start fights with me in front of other people to make me look like a wimp. At first I just blew it off, but this girl Stephanie is now saying she is going to show up at my house and beat my a**. I think the reason they think they can kick my a** is because their friend Becky beat me up once back in middle school. (but I am way bigger now, and she cheated by kicking me in the junk). Anyway, should I be worried?
a) How big of an advantage is it that these girls are athletic (I don't play any sports)? Do you think this jock/bball girl Steph could beat me up? (I am 6' tall) pic of this jock girl [removed content - please don't post inappropriate links] b) Why do you think they target/bully me? Do they think I'm weak? Is it the jock/nerd thing?
c) Am I a wimp for being scared of a girl?

 Abuse, because it has nothing to do with puberty, and I think you'll get more suitable answers here.

Okay three things:

1. You cannot post pictures of other people if you are not present in the picture.

2. We have no idea what you look like.

3. People get bullied for multiple reasons, not just because people think they are weak.

Helpful answer. Read below.

Kids bully kids for various reasons.
They want to feel powerful, and popular around other kids. Being Popular and liked can drive people to do horrible things to be accepted. If they see a kid that is not well-liked, and they are trying to get some attention, they will use that as a catapult into popularity. No one cares of the kid no one likes gets bullied, and they praise those who make amusing threats and such.
the threats are not always true, but sometimes they are, and you should watch your back for a while.
They are jealous. (Parent answer, but sometimes true) If they feel threatened by you, they will find a way to undermine you, and feel like they are better than you.

Most teenagers are very self-conscious and will find anyway to feel better about themselves, even at the expense of another peer.

I don't know what you look like, nor what they look like. However you are a boy, and should act like one. If they threaten you, you shouldn't ignore it, but you should let them know that that shit won't do anybody any good.

As a male there is a physical overpower with females. If that is or isn't the case with you, it doesn't matter. Just use it to your advantage!
