Do you think a girl could beat up a boy in a real fight?

I have this uber tough cousin, who's one of the 3 or 4 toughest girls in my school. The other day she was fighting with her little brother. I tried to pull her off of him, and she turned on me. (I think she must assume I'm a wimp Because I'm kinda nerdy & have never been in a fight.). She got in my face and was like, "come on... let's fight." She had me backed up against a bed, and then totally made me look like a punk by pushing me down onto the bed and standing over me saying "come on, get up, are you afraid to fight a girl." I got up and she pushed me down again and kept egging me on "come on, get up, let's fight." I got up a 2nd time, she finally slapped me in the face and left me alone. I admit I was pretty scared. Not only does she have the really tough rep, I know she is pretty strong. I've tried to arm wrestle her & couldn't beat her (had to settle for a draw after like 5 minutes of trying my hardest). Also, my family tells me she used to beat me up when we were really little.
a) Why would a girl want to fight a boy? Do girls get a sense of empowerment from beating up a boy? Do they get major toughness "cred" if they can beat up a boy
b) Do you think my cousin could have beat me up if I tried to fight back? why/why not?
c) Do you think I'm a wimp for being scared of a girl?

i dont hit girls, but i know of a few girls who would beat me in a legit fight, regardless of gender. ive once been in a brawl-type situation with girls involved, but i just hit the dudes and sucked it up if a girl hit me.

I'm not a weakling, either. I can face up well against my older brother, who weighs almost 300 lbs. I'm half of that weight, and I can hold my own against him.

Yes, a girl can beat up a guy, pretty much any girl could beat me up, mainly because I don't fight, and even if I did I wouldn't fight a girl.

Example, my friend, female is 5'4, a little bit shorter than me. She's 150 pounds (20 heavier than me). She is 95% muscle. I think she could take me :p

Gender has absolutely nothing in it. Both sexes have the capacity to overpower the other. And size also has nothing to do with it, it's body make-up and skill.

a) Girls have an advantage that some like to use to manipulate men: many men are scared to hit girls. Giving us the upper hand if we choose to actually participate because odds are men will hesitate. I can't say I haven't wanted to try. But I'm just not the type of person who could take ANYONE on. I'm more of the "pummel them with witty shit they can't understand" type.
c) Lol, no. Girls are fucking scary. Any man who thinks that we don't have the ability to be so needs to spend more time around girls. We both are strong in our own ways. Women have a maternal predisposition that can make us deadly if something important to us is at risk. Watch some Animal Planet or something.

Well, both sexes can beat each other up, even if girls are the ones that usually don't do the physical fighting. The last two parts of your question are a bit tougher to answer.. You probably could have if you wanted, but a few people might be upset with you after. Also, you wouldn't be a wimp. Just because someone wants you to fight them and its not just messing around, you are not a wimp for backing down. You're being the better person.

Females can be exceptionally strong, and we have a bitch attitude which makes us rather scary. I've been in fights with males, real fights and spars. I took martial arts for 8 years and went to a couple state championships and won against males who were equally as strong as me. Men are scared to hit girls.

i find the "guys dont hit girls rule" very irritating i believe if someone is trying to harm and truly can. u have the right to defend yourself this goes for any gender but if a girl or guy attacks u and they have no chance of hurting u. then dont hurt them either. it all depends on the situation. it logical that a guy shouldnt hit a girl but its also logical that a woman/girl shouldnt hit a guy either people should just kerp their hands to themselves
