Was thinking about how homophobic people are, well stupid IMO, and I was wondering if there are any gay people who despise straight people in the same manner.

The term heterophobia is used by some anti-gay rights activists in order to counter claims of homophobia. They say that homosexuals are heterophobes because they are fighting for their rights. It's complete crap and the word was coined from the word homophobia in the first place. It is very uncommon amongst homosexuals, almost non existent.

Gay people who know how it is to be discriminated against are very unlikely to do it to others.

In this context, I think you're correct, however there are plenty of gay people who are racist, sexist, homophobic, and (especially) transphobic.

Could also be the other way around, if gays have been discriminated against and feel the world's against them they can turn back and say 'fuck the world, I'll generalise you all as one tough crock of shit too'.

I've yet to meet a heterophobic gay person. I could understand why some gay people could be scared of some hetero people, but still I haven't met any homosexual of the sort. I'm bisexual, and 60% of my friends are hetero,so I have no problem with them lol.

Both comments are true, however the point is that heterophobia is just not widespread enough to be considered even marginally significant.
