My Friend...

i dont know what to do... my friend is in an abusive situation at home, both physical and emotional... and it drives me crazy at night when i know she is there and the is probably going through Hel.l and i just hate it... she has stayed at my house a few times and my parrents like her and stuff so i have been trying to get her out of the house as much as possible but that is proving to be more and more difficult as the situation gos on... what do i do?

If it were me, I'd call the cops. Say that my friend is being abused physically and please help them.

Well Amber, I am truly sorry to hear about your friends situation. What Santa said is something you can do, but do not do it without her knowing or without her approval. I know you want whats best for your friend and you want her to be safe, but if she is being threatened, you will just scare her more. The best thing to do is just be there for her and listen when she needs it. Just doing that alone will help her cope with the stress tremendously. You can help her report it, but you need her to know that she won't be hurt anymore if the situation is fixed. Just don't rush it and take your time and she will make it through this in the end. Wanting to help her is a big step that she will appreciate more than you could imagine.
