10th grade opinion

Just wondering what people thought about 10th grade compared to the other years of high school. And is 10th grade important for getting into college and stuff? or is it more the later grades that schools look at?

What part of Canada are you from, OP? I live in BC, and most colleges I've checked out here really only care about how you do in senior year, and more importantly, core academics of senior year.

I'm not sure how is it in Canada..but i didn't do so hot in 10th grade..i think it's 11th, and some of 12th that they look at..if you have done/are doing bad in 9th or 10th then just get your shit together in 11th

Im in 10th now and thats when everyone started telling me i needed to focus and stay on track for college opporunities. U always have to stay open and look into stuff. Think about a major if your into sumthing specific. In my opinion and what i hear from other people it depends on what college is looking at you if they look into your senior year or before.

I don't know about Canada, but I know in the US, GPA in the 11th and 12th grades really matter.

10th is pretty much right in the middle of the importance scale between freshman and junior years. It matters, yes, but junior year matters more.

All I hear rt now is about how to stay focused for college and figuring out a major. Idk, seems too early for that rt now but i know I'll be graduating before i know it and then is not the time to be doing these things

I hated 10th grade with all my heart.
11th grade is the most important year for college, but you still want to keep strong grades in all the other years.
