I think it's just meant to be a sort of pun :P

As in you can rant about whatever you want in there, with no harm done because it's a forum that can't be seen by people unless they have an account here, just as you could go and take out all your anger physcially in a padded room without getting hurt? :P

That's just a guess, but it's how i've always taken it.

I think that's just to add to the pun, generally the padded rooms are white.

I could be wrong...but I don't think I am...White Padded Rooms are what they had in insane asylums (when they were still around) to keep the "patients" from hurting themselves (hence the pads) or to keep them from getting triggered (hence the white).

This and it is easier to clean the blood up when you can see it, also if they bleach it to get it out it just turns it white, like everything else....
