Now we all know the ruff textbook defintion of bullying it may be slightly different but in general people view it as people physically or mentally putting someone down.

But how do we classify bullying?

So if we take the textbook DEF then we know putting people down is wrong but can we sometimes not help it?

I mean someone once said I was a bully because I told someone what I thought of them, but to me this is me being pure honest and if I think that person is out of order or is not a nice person I will tell them and I never say anything harsh like your a retard or use any bad language I will just say I dont find you a nice person and I have no respect for you what so ever.

So would you classify this as bullying.

Also what do you classify as bullying.

No, that is not being a bully. It was a one time thing, or not something you do often. Bullying is when you continuously put someone down, usually the same person or persons, and purposely make them feel insignificant. It is when you go out of your way to do someone wrong, and make it known that you want them to feel as they do. It is hurting someone purposely, whether it be mentally or physically. It is singling someone out of a crowd in order to make them feel as if they are a piece of dirt that is there for only your amusement of hatred.

I used to engage in a form of bullying. I didn't hurt people, beating someone up only took place when someone else was bullying my kiddos. In order to make myself feel better about myself I would make others feel lower than me. It's a sick, cruel circle. Because I was bullied as a child, I bullied others.
