My mum and dad are shouting at me because of my school work because the think I'm not trying hard when I am trying my best I've just had a few bad exams. I feel like running away and not coming back as I'm sure they wouldn't be bothered I have things to run away and I feel like doing it.

I am going to be blunt.
you run away, go goodbye dont come back....but remember who you will hurt and remember who will fall to pecies...your parents will.
and remember what will you do if you do run away

Have you tried telling your parents that you actually are trying hard? Because maybe they don't pay enough attention to not notice your hard work? In any case, you should try talking to them, tell them that you are working hard and ask for them to understand that you cannot get A's from every subject every time.

I think you should try to talk to them about your issues.
I don't think that running away will be a solution to your problem. You can't provide yourself with everything you need yet and parents are vital for you.
Try to get help, don't fight with parents, on the contrary try to resolve everything with them as friends.

You really need to talk to your parents about your situation, if it's as serious as you say it is then they need to understand how you're feeling. If, for whatever reason, they don't care/take notice then running away is the last resort, and even then only providing that you'll be safe, have someone to care for you and somewhere to stay.

Running away is never the answer. TALK to them, explain your doing your best, try to find out what THEY expect you to achieve. If you have up till now been getting Cs and Ds, do they expect you to be a straight A student? You can only do your best, they should understand this, if however your were a straight A student, and are now getting below average results, you will have to try and find out where you are going wrong.

Here is something my Mom sent me a while back:
I will always be your parent first and your friend second. I will stalk you, flip out on you, lecture you, hunt you down like a bloodhound when I have to, because I love you. When you understand that, I will know you have become a responsible adult. You will never find anyone else in your life who loves, prays, cares and worries about you more than I do. If you don't mutter "I Hate You" under your breathe at least once in your life, then I am not doing my job properly, Love, MOM

In complete honesty, running away wont fix anything. Just wait it out.

Why would your parents keep you in the first place if they did not love you. The only ones you are hurting from running away are your parents.

If only my mother would do that, sucks to be me.
