Recently, my foreskin seems to be getting too tight when ever I have an erection, and then becomes itchy.

I am sorry to hear that.

Is this a problem, and what are any solutions that I could try?

This could turn into a possible problem if you are not able to urinate correctly and it could, if it gets tighter lead to Phimosis, I hop fit does not go that far.

You could try stretching it in the shower because the warm water will help loosen up the skin and the itchiness could be because you might be drying it too much when you get out of the shower, that is really all I can come up with for the itchiness other than a possible male yeast infection.

Itchiness may also be a result of your penis rubbing to much against your pants or underwear, are you wearing tight jeans?

I know a solution is circumcision, but I'd like to try any other solutions first before it comes to that.

All in all, if you cannot find any relief I would talk to your General Practitioner and they should be able to help you.

It could just be chapped, which does happen. The male foreskin is, of course, skin. It can dry, just like any other part of the body. When the foreskin gets dry, or chapped, it will start to tighten and flake and even crack a little. My advice to you is go to the doctor, if it is worrying you so much, and ask his advice. But also, get something to help un-dry it. I'm going to recommend something that is going to make you laugh...but...it helps...

Bag Balm (http://bagbalm.com/cows.htm) This stuff is for chapping of places like that. It's used on animals, but I've known dozens of people who use it on their male parts. You can find it in your local feed stores. Also, any other form of ointment for chapped parts will help too, I suppose.

Yes, sometimes I do wear tightish jeans, but mostly daggy trackpants.

That's a good idea. I shall try that out also. Cheers guys.

Best thing to do when you're doing this is to do it every time you shower. If you're doing it a little bit each day then it's inevitable that it's going to gradually stretch.
