Electronic survivalism

Hey people I am getting really interested in survivalism. I've been listening/watching to Sean Kennedy a lot (plz tell me if anyone knows what I mean with Wogs and Patrolling and Newsreal)

My question is if I were to have a laptop or psp or something and had tons of notes and database type stuff for guides i've saved to laptop/psp are there any solar panals I could buy at a hardware store that would provide enough energy and could fit on the back of a soldiers backpack (if mobile) and not take up too much room.

This might charge a laptop if it's low enough power consumption. I'd say go for a netbook if you're going to carry that with you
