Ok now that it's winter and less sun (for my part of world) I'm upping my vitamin count in the sense of Vitamin D & E. I take multivitamins now but one thing I am wondering is how well does our body take them in? I'm not talking like body's tolerance to synthetic stuff I'm talking about surface area.

If I were to crush up vitamins into powder and then consume them would my body consume all of it?

or is stomach acid strong enough it would just melt down the pill anyways?

I heard that vitamins in water solutions that have the major parts dissolved work better than pills but not sure.

I'm sure that stomach takes pills as well as powder, maybe it's just the matter of time, powder will dissolve faster inside.

anyway it depends on kind of vitamins. if the pharmaceutical company decided that vitamins should be pills or powder I accept their decision. they are professionals so I guess they know what they do.

I would recommend taking them in the solid pill form, if you crush them then they lose the ability to release the supplement in a time frame like they are meant too.

If you crush them you will get a blast of the supplement and then it might not good, causing gastrointestinal ache (tummy aches) and a few other things.

I would just keep them in the pill form.
