Efexor XR

So after being on Lexapro (Cipralex; 5mg then 10mg) for over a month, my doctor has put me on Efexor XR (75mg/day) now [both are types of antidepressant]. I'm just wondering what are others' experiences with Efexor? I've been really ridiculously tired since starting them, and seem to have one constant head cold. This happen to anyone else that takes/took Efexor?

I don't know specifically... But my dad was on Efexor XR after he and my mother got divorced and, to be honest, I didn't realise he was taking them. I didn't notice any signs of fatigue or mood swings or the like. To me he seemed very well adjusted.

I'm on Effexor.

Dry mouth galore. Otherwise worth it.

Just be careful, it's very addictive and if you skip even a single dose, you'll know.

Going back to my doctor today hopefully, and again Thursday and next Wednesday. Gonna see what she says, but if anyone else has experience with Efexor, please share!
