okay...so i want to tell my dad i cut...i just cant keep it from him anymore...i dont know what to say...i dont know if he will be mad at me...these last couple of days he has really been mad at me for no reason...he just shits on me about everything and im scared to tell him because im scared he will be mad at me and dont want to talk to me or look at me in a diffrent way...i dont know what to do...i want him to help...but im too scared...to scared for him to find out im not that perfect son he wanted...i dont know anymore...what should i say...

Personally, there are pro's and con's of your parents knowing.

Not going to lie, if you tell him he will most probably hide your razor blades and have that 'parent to child' chat and the whole concept of getting help.

But then they know that you are not happy and then they realise that what they see on the outside isnt whats on the inside.

I would only come out to him when you are ready to and you are rady within yourself. The first time I cut I just walked downstairs with the sleevles top I was wearing, nothing was said or done. But now if I do it there is fucking murders. I guess different peoples parents react differently.
