As some of you may know from my previous posts here, I have been trying to tell my straight crush that I am gay, here is how it happened:

First attempt: I try to tell him to meet me afterschool, but he had to go to another highschool for a orchestra lesson.
Second attempt: I try to tell him to meet me afterschool via text, but my phone turns off as soon as I get to the texting screen, and my dad who is against me texting in general, is home and I can't charge it.
Third attempt: I TELL him to meet me after school, but he dosn't want to go outside, and I can't seem to seperate him from his girlfriend (who is only offical since this week, think how stupid I feel crushing on a straight AND taken guy? *facepalm*) and when I finally DO get alone with him, I start to try to talk and than 3 of his friends come over.
Fourth attempt: I give up, go home via city bus. I go to the citystation and dicide to tell him there via text, even though it is tacky as hell, I cant seem to tell him any other way. I turn on my phone, start texting and.... It turns off.
FIFTH AND FINAL ATTEMPT: I f******* snap. I go over to the bench, take out my laptop, and charge my iphone in my laptop that has about 20 minutes of charge left. I texted him the following:

" Seeing that you wount talk to me, im going to have to take the tacky over sterotyped way. I'm gay, and the only reason im telling you this is so you DONT allow me to take advantage of you, if you ever feel uncomfortable, tell me without making it obvious. Please dont out me, I trust you.
~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~30 minutes later~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
Him: I kinda already knew you where
Me: Othankgod
Him: Yeah no biggie
Me: Thanks for not freaking out
Him: Why would I?
Me: I dont know... I just read all these horror stories of coming out to guys and them like freaking out and never speaking again.
Him: Nah thats gay
Today is the first time in weeks where I have not felt sad. Im actually smiling for the first time in months. I talked to some of my girlfriends, and they all say that he should act the same around me, the teasing and playgay stuff, since he was already guessing it anyways.
:o yeah.. so thats my story xD
Congratulations, I know how much of a relief it is to finally tell that person you were dreading and to have a response like that is great :)
Congratulations, it must feel great to have that pressure off your shoulders. Quite good to hear he's fine with it too :P
"Nah that's gay" - Oh the irony. :P
That's a great response though, so you should be happy with that; especially coming from a guy. Guys can be really difficult to communicate with about this stuff sometimes, especially if they think/know you like them.
Congrats though, I know how relieving it is when you first start telling people about who you are. It is so liberating. :)
