iTunes for stuff that I buy and stuff that i put on my iPod. VLC for everything else.

VLC for everything. If you get the latest kodec packs then it can run basically any format that you could ever want. If VLC doesn't run it then Windows Media Classic probably does :P

iTunes for music, VLC for videos and WMP for streaming my library.

Rhythmbox for most audio, Totem for most video, gXine for DVD, and VLC for everything else.

Windows Media Player for most stuff, if I can't use it I use VLC.

Banshee on Linux and Windows Media Player on Windows, thinking about trying VLC though.

I use foobar2000 for managing my music collection, and VLC for videos and everything else. lol

VLC is by far my preference. So flexible.

WMP really pissed me off some time ago and since then I just deleted it from the PC. now when I have iPod I use iTunes, sometimes foobar for FLAC and converting FLAC to ALAC

I don't use Media players that much so I just stick with Windows Media.

I use iTunes because I'm honestly too lazy to import the 4000+ songs I have into a different player. When I get a laptop I'll explore different players.

When I was a Windows junkie I rocked VLC for everything but music and iTunes for that.
But on Mac I actually use QuickTime a good bit plus iTunes, VLC.
