Dying Inside.

Okay, so in Health class this year, we had to learn about boy stuff and girl stuff. Well, now we have a test on it tomorrow and I'm not ready. I refused to look at the pictures (I mean, how can you look at those!?!?) because I am not mentally ready to see that stuff. So how could I explain nicely to my teacher that I'm not going to do the diagram part of the test because I'm not mature enough to see it? I can do every other part of the test no problem, it's just that one part... Help?

We don't have to retake anything here. We just get pushed ahead to the next grade.

You have 2 choices. One: just do the test and leave that part blank and lose the points or 2: just do it. It wll be over in 5 minutes

you could always talk to your teacher in private about it and if you make a valid point they might disregard that part for you

Why don't you want to do it? It's just diagrams, it's really no big deal. It's not like they're showing actual pictures of people or anything. Don't worry about it.

Thanks guys!
I left that part of the test blank and when my teacher noticed it was blank, he tried to hand it back. I told him to look at the note I wrote on the last sheet, and when he did he looked so confused and mad. As soon as he read it though he calmed down and asked me if my mom knew. By this time, I was crying for the second time within that class (I had ran to the bathroom earlier during the test because I started to panic). I explained that she did know and surprisingly he just told me to go to the washroom until the bell rang. When it did, I came back to get my stuff and he told me that he wouldn't grade me on it because he didn't believe in teaching it anyway. So I got off scott free. :)

It's for your own benefit that you learn the parts of the human reproductive system.
You should consider learning them on your own time or with the assistance of the teacher. It's your body, you should understand it.

Are you like 6 or something?
You're not mentally ready to look at the human genitalia? That is just plain stupid.

The stork doesn't exist. Sex is real.
Sorry, but you're going to have to learn about it some day.

Not to be mean but by 12 or 13 y/o, if you can not look at a penis or vigina, then there is a problem! The only part in health class that that it can be "hard" to look at the pics is when it comes the the STD section

Yeah, I'll never understand people like this. I think it's some kind of ploy to get attention.

if your that uncomfortable then i would recommend just skipping it. the teacher may understand or say everyone else is doing it.
