i was sniffing plastic (polymers) smoke, and i burned my lips and it hurts like hell, what can i do for the pain???HELLLLLLLLPPP!!!! i like to soldering, so i'm used to burn my hands a lot, but it never happen to get burned on the lips, so i'm concerned about it.
i sniff plastic because it's a way to identify them, and because i'm learning that, i need to sniff difrent types of plastic, many peolpe that know that i sniff plastic, think that i'm a junkie, so don't get the wrong idea about me.

Get a wet cloth and gently dab your lips with cold water - do this for about 15 minutes at a time. Do not put ice on your lips, as this will create more damage to the burn.
Depending on the severity - you should see a doctor, especially since the burn is near the mouth - there is a extremely high chance for infection.
Any questions or anything, feel free to contact me :)

Thanks for replying, the wet cloth with cold water i alredy knew and i already did it, but i didn't know about the infection, thanks a lot, i will follow your advice :) Personally i think it wasn't severe (150-200ºC), but my problem is that hurts a lot...

Could try some chapsticks, but ones like Burt's Bees that use natural items, and not a lot of scent. Maybe a dab of A&D ointment.
Also, I'm fairly sure inhaling smoke from plastic is very harmful...

It's harmful, but it's necessary to identify them... The chapstick seems to work well healing the lip, thanks
