If you didn't orgasm the second time then it probably wasn't a completely different ejaculation. More likely to be the remnants of the first one, what ever was still in your penis somewhere, coming out. It's definitely possible to have a double orgasm/ejaculation but the former explanation makes more sense.

that's happened to me but the other way around i was close to climax and then i started cumming all of a sudden and then i continued to an actual orgasm. it was pretty weird.

Yes, normally the orgasm and ejaculation happen at the same time but they are not inextricably linked and I have had the ejaculation start a moment before the orgasm before.

I wonder if this has an effect on which spurts are the strongest. For me it is usually the 2nd and 3rd.
