What traits do you guys look for in a girlfriend?

So I have never had a boyfriend. Almost none of my friends can count theirs on their fingers, but I can say 0. I was just wondering what sort of personality guys like. Also, what does having a girlfriends do for guys? Like I know gfs aren't probably supposed to clean and cook in our age range, so..... Could I just have some info from you guyses perspective?

the best answer to that is another question. what is this guys personality? because i personally differ from someone else and they think another and another thinks a different way so honestly it matters on what guy. i'm not so sure if there is a common thing they look in but i personally look for someone who is optimistic and easy to get along with.

Someone who has a life of her own. If i call her up, i don't want her friend making up plans for her. A girl who respects them self. Who can look good without looking....Slutish(i guess thats the right word? or trampish maybe) Putting too much pressure like too much texts n stuff in one day makes me not wana talk to you much the next day.

If you're having a conversation and there is like an awkward silence after you just talked about a topic, is sort of a sign that you guys can't find too many interests in each other

ok, a little story: I live in the dormitories in the room with 5 girls. but there's only one who is popular among guys.

she is cheerful, flirty, a little bit light-headed. she laughs a lot. and I can't say that she's beauty queen but lots of boys have fallen for her.
she's fun, she takes part in team games with guys a lot, like football, volleyball... when we play tricks in the dormitories she's always eager to be part of them. she's not fastidious at all and takes little fusses easy.
