View Full Version : Feeling guilty for checking out...

I think this is a bit of an unusual problem but...

Whenever I check a girl out, I feel as though I'm kind of "invading her space". Don't get me wrong, my eyes aren't bugging out for a prolonged period of time and I don't make it blatantly obvious. I give an occasional glance to a girl who I think is attractive. You know, I "check people out".

I don't do it differently than anyone else but I feel like it's messed up for some reason. No one has said anything, no one has implied anything. I just feel like it's "not okay".

I've just really started looking at people in a more sexual sense, prior to this year I was never really all that attracted to anyone so maybe it's just coming to terms with it.. or maybe my body is inherently a prude.

Meh. Anyone know how to get over this or feel the same way?

I do that too! I thought it was just me.

I used to just look at a cute guy like he was...well...cute. Now I see them in a more sexual way I guess? I always feel kind of sleazy because of it.
There's really no reason to feel guilty about it though, I mean, that's what being a hormonal teenager is about :)

It's normal to check out others. If you get caught and feel guilty just give her an innocent smile an it will be ok... we like to get checked out but not gawked at

I too think that I have looked at women more sexually than I ever have before...

its normal to feel that way, i did, and still do sometimes, but I've told myself, "I can look but I won't touch" (mainly because he is a heterosexual cis gendered homophobic Christian) even though he's nice to me, (and he knows i'm gay, and that i like him) but i do my best to make things feel normal to him, and i think he knows that...but when he wears jeans, his ass, looks AMAZING!!! and when he bends over, i can't help but look, now i've seen his ass w/o pants too, and most would say that's disgusting if they've seen it, and it changes their mind about him in jeans, but i still see it the same, and omg, i've almost slapped myself because i think i was kinda gawking, i felt bad about it, but I made it known to myself, All i can do is look...
