Hey guys, this is my first ever post so I hop I am posting it to the right forum. :D :)

OK so I have realised that all my friends have not gone through puberty yet. I don't really fit in very well in the groups at school and I just feel like I'm a bit left out sometimes. I'm 13 and to be honest, I have been through puberty. But it seems that no-one in my year (except from a couple of people have gone through puberty fully or even started yet). When I play Rugby and stuff I feel really self concious about the hair on my body because I have got hairy legs and a couple of people have actually commented on my legs saying stuff like "WHOA YOUR LEGS ARE HAIRY MAN" and stuff like that. Its kind of ruining my time at school at the moment because when I go swimming with school we all have to wear really tight brief like speedo's and they show everything and I'm always scared of getting an erection. When I'm swimming people also comment on the hair on my body. any advice? Thanks in advance

Im sorry to hear that you are going through this, but it is nothing to worry about, dont listen them. In fact they are probably jelous of you, because you have gone through puberty, and they haven't even started. It isn't as bad as it seems, trust me. If you need any more help, message me :-)

In a couple years, everyone will want to be hairy. Just tell them you're more of a man than they are.

Be proud of it and be confident!

They're probably just jealous. In a few years, maybe even months, everyone will be the same as you; hairy legs and stuff.

If they're saying these things in a spiteful way, like belittling or making fun of you, I'd say they were just jealous. If they just say it like you know, it's an interesting sight then that's probably just it. They could be interested or just stating the obvious (teens do that a lot).

I understand how you feel. It seems that a lot of people going through puberty feel kind of self-conscious or uncomfortable, especially in those moments where you're 'most vulnerable' and everyone can see how far you've developed into puberty (i.e. swimming). My best advice is just to wait it out and try to ignore it. In the end, it really isn't a big deal. Everyone goes through puberty eventually and we all turn out the same in the end, more or less. If anything, try having a positive attitude towards your development -- you're turning into an adult, and that's usually something to look forward to in several aspects.

Good luck!

you should be happy you are going through puberty earlier because they will be jealous that you are bigger, stronger, have a bigger penis, and yes harrier because it means you are becoming a man.

I don't agree with your first point and your second I would only actually do if they're mocking you.

It's pretty unlikely that the majority of people in your age group haven't even started puberty, body hair is only a small part of it and the other boys have probably started developing in other areas first. Being teased about body hair, especially as a guy when you have it and others don't, is not a bad thing at all - 'man' up as it were and just carry on.

You say you are 13 and you have been through puberty! No you haven't, your still GOING through puberty! Do not worry about the others in your year, they will eventually catch up to you.

Dont worry about what they say. You still have to go through puberty because you are only 13. Your just an early bloomer. They are just not used to seeing someone your age like that. Dont feel akward or anything.

Well... yeah, you wouldn't randomly walk up to someone and say "I'm more of a man than you are." Would you? Thought that was obvious.

Also, I said first point because a lot of guys would prefer to be hairy as they get older. I'm not very hairy now, but I would personally hate to be hairless when im 19-20 or so. I know everyone is different, but thats why i said it.

You wouldn't do it randomly, but if they were just talking about it with you then saying it would be unnecessary and may make the situation even worse.

I don't think that a lot of guys do want to be hairy as they get older. That's why they shave/wax - I'm a really hairy guy and I hate it.

Any young boy thats starts before others will get teased. Most of us could tell you that. Just ignore them. They will have hair soon enough and will shut up eventually. But i agree with something earlier, if your pubes get bigger around your groin, shave or trim to avoid an embarrassing speedo problem. lol

they havent gotten to puberty yet but give them a litle and they will be caught up to you before you know it and may fit in a lil bit more. also you don't really finish puberty tell you are about 20 ish. and you don't finish growing until you are about 26.
