So, I currently have an Android and I'm actually getting bored of it. I don't care for iOS, it's nice, but I don't like it for long.
What I'm looking into is the new Blackberrys. Blackberry Curve 9360 and Blackberry Bold 9900.
Can you guys give me your opinions on Why you Like or Dislike Blackberry?
Be descriptive please. =]

If you want any decent selection of apps or games, Blackberry is not the way to go. I think they are mainly aimed for business people, who use it for light web browsing and emailing. Sure, they have the free messaging system, but, at least for me, I don't text much, so I don't really care. The app store on it (AppWorld I think), has a few of the popular games and productivity, and not much more. I just think it isn't really a phone you would want if you plan on using it a lot.

What is making you want to switch?

I've used multiple different androids; HTC, Samsung, LG. And the apps are cool, for like a week. After that I get bored. I have over 20games on my phone, and don't use them after the first day.
I've used Blackberry before, and I like the reliability, and simplicity of it. It's a smartphone, that for all purposes is a smartPHONE.

If that's what you're looking for, a simple, to-the-point smartphone, then yes, its good. Though they are slipping down in the market share, you never knwo with companies like that.

From what I heard after the release of BBOS6&7 they were starting to rise up again.

Are you sure that graph is right, because i thought that android was more popular than IOS. Getting back on topic. Do you mind having a small app selection? Do you like small screens (that arn't always touchscreen)? Do you like the OS? Do you like buttons? Is the signal good in your area? Do you have Paypal?

If you say yes to all then get a Blackberry you would be very happy.

First: Yes, as far as I know his graph was right. iOS still leads.

As far as Blackberry it's self, the minimal apps doesn't bother..I'll miss Mango, but that's it. I have a multitude of games on my phones and don't use them. I happen to love their keyboard and how their new OS runs. I'm very text heavy, and having a touchscreen phone has slowed me down greatly. >_<

I have a Blackberry Tour and its amazing :) But the only thing the app store kinda sucks but its really good cause most of my friends have Blackberrys and I use BBM to talk to them instead of texting, the keyboard is really good and its for people who like texting a lot.

Iv only just recently moved from a blackberry curve 8520 to an android phone, i would NOT recommend getting a blackberry, the battery life is terrible (on the older models anyway, i dont think they have done much to the newer batteries either though), The phones freeze alot and often take a long time to do things. You may be getting bored of android but id highly recommend you just get yourself a new phone, perhaps the new samsung nexus? Since it comes with the new 4.0 android software you may find yourself less bored.

This is just my suggestion, but after 2 years of owning a blackberry and knowing almost all of my friends have had one at some point i would NOT recommend getting one,

Hope this helped in your decision, and let us know what you opt for :)
