i post on this thread too much :P

ive been wanting to tell my school, well someone in my school that ive been cutting, but before i do, ive been looking on my school website for some kind of policy on self harm. theres nothing, apart from this.

If there is a concern regarding the welfare of a student and you are unsure what to do or who to talk to then please contact our child protection liason officer Ms ****** - Inclusion Manager who should always be informed of children who are considered to be at risk of harm - or those who may be in need of extra social or emotional support.

btw i removed the name of our inclusion manager.

i assume it would go to her, and i would in the end talk to her about it. but i hate her, i really dislike her, because she dealt with some of my bullying incidents and i just dont think shes very nice

how can i tell my school, without being made to see her?

you could try going straight to your school counselor, or a teacher, and if they mention you having to see the inclusion manager, you could at least try to talk them out of it.

Do you have tutors in your school? Head of year? Head of house? A teacher you get on with? Even why don't you tell (if you haven't already) your best friend? Explain to however you tell that you don't like the person but you would like help, I'm sure someone will do something. Good on you for telling someone, I wish I had the strength.
