I'm straight, but sometimes watching girl solo porn doesn't turn me on. Also, if I see a boobies picture or something I probably won't get turned on. Yet, in a real situation I get turned on. Has this happened to anyone else?

It doesn't mean you're not straight, it just means that you aren't turned on by a bunch of pixels on a screen.

It's the opposite of video games. So many people play Call of Duty and have fun with that but if they were caught in a real situation with a bunch of guns going off, I am pretty sure they would be bawling their eyes out. Things are so much different on a computer screen.

omg I am the exact same way lol. If i watch a girl masturbating on a porno, it doesnt do too much for me (sometimes), or a naked picture of a real hot girl, is eh. it's all about context is seems.
If I see the naked picture in the presence of a friend, or my gf or something, it will probably turn me on. Or if a guy is in the porno, watching the girl, I'll probably get turned on. I think it has to do with us rationalizing the picture, and essentially desexualizing it, similarly to how "art" is often times nude depictions of people: that's not sexual or rather not made to arouse.
By looking at a naked picture, or solo porn, by yourself, your brain doesn't equate the image with a sexual response. No sex is about to happen, so why become aroused. Does that make sense? Where as with another girl (in real life) or with a guy (in the video) a sexually suggestive image is created; the possibility for reproduction becomes more realistic. Does that seem reasonable?
Kind of just thought of that as I went..
