Try writing her a letter, maybe. That way you can ask her for the help you need, but you don't have to experience the difficulty of speaking the words. A lot of times, it's just easier to get your thoughts out on paper anyway.
Also, forgive me for my ignorance, but what's wrong with piercing your own ears? I know a lot of people who've done it.

I agree withscreamtobeheard writing a letter is a wonderful idea. Or sending an email maybe text her. But you should ask if you think you need it no matter how. And i perced my cartlige on my own, my mom was disapointed to but probably not for the same reasons

Thanks alot. My parents are stricly against peircings and have extremely dramatic views on whats 'right and wrong'. Its stressfull to listen to them and think im pretty much everything thier against.

I understand your mothers concern on you piercing your own ears. I did that once when I was younger, and my mom totally flipped. They can get badly infected. A girl once did that, her ear swelled so much it cauliflowered (The skin split in several different places) and she had to get it removed...
Anyways, try writing an E-Mail to your mother, and attach several different URLs explaining self-harm to her. It can help a lot.

I told a trustworthy amazing teacher (and by told, I mean wrote a letter) who told a counselor who told my step mom (my guardian) who got me a therapist.
Two months cut free.

Jonni, well done on the two months, great story!
Fake, is your mother aware of your eating disorder already? Are the two connected?

My parents arn't aware of any of my problems. I guess they contribute towards my ED . They constantly tease me about gaining weight and have no idea how it effects me, even when i was fitting into an english size 2.
