How do you people here measure your joystick?

As stated in my title, what is the correct way to measure here? I've tried measuring from different angles and the difference was like an inch.
My penis looks long when viewed from above and bellow but from the side it's just pathetic. ):
Any good greg here mind telling me how people here measure their penises?

Take a soft ruler (like a cloth one) and hold your dick parallel to the ground (straight out) while your fully hard. Measure from the base, where the shaft meets the body, to your tip. Also account for any bends or such (where the cloth ruler comes in).
Just like that.
