There will be people who have wet dreams, even though they masturbate regularly, and there will be people who do not masturbate very often who still have few or no wet dreams.

A lot also depends on the circumstance, level of arousal, stage in puberty, after working out or not....and testosterone production always plays a role.

Wet/white/sticky/damp/moist patches on your bed/underwear. Not necessarily always going to happen even if you do have a nocturnal emission but it might.

There's no definitive way to make yourself have a nocturnal emission because everyone is different and their bodies behave differently. If you find that you are not having nocturnal emissions even though you're not masturbating for protracted periods of time then you might find that you're not producing sufficient amounts of actual sperm that your body needs to ejaculate them - that's nothing to be ashamed or concerned about, give it time and you may (or may not, not important) begin to produce more.

Before I started to jo, I had them every 12-14 days, but since jerking everyday, never happens now.

If you don't know if you have had one or not, you will wake up in the middle of the night, your p/j's/shorts or whatever you wear will be wet, as will the sheets on your bed, you will be breathing fast, and heart rate will be up. thats a little hard to determine when everyone is different. 2 boys same age could abstain for 2 weeks and only one have a wet dream the 2 week 1st day. if you really want one for some reason then i dont know what to tell you. btw u get the same effect from masturbating.
