How to get over a guy?

There's this guy that pretty much all of us girls are hopelessly in love with. He's flawless. He can sing like an angel, is one of the sweetest people I have ever met, and he's super gorgeous. Now, I know we're just friends and he'll never see me that way, but it still doesn't stop me from liking him. I'm not going after him, just admiring him from afar. I need to get over him, and stop liking him like that (actually thats what most of us girls are trying to do). Do any of you have ways to get over someone quickly?

I don't think there are any special "ways" to stop liking someone, your feeling will go as quickly as they started there's no way for you to stop liking him unless you were to keep yourself apart from him for weeks and completely forget him, but in all honesty that's not a very good idea cos he sounds like a really nice guy.

haha theres a guy like that at my school i swear everyone wants to be with him(even me but im over him) my friend she was total head over heals for him and she got over him by just not really seeing him and dating a different guy

I had a HUGE crush like this when I was in middle school, but I couldn't even try for it because it was a straight - gay crush. I was really good friends with him, but after I moved schools to highschool, I deleted his phone number, Blocked him on facebook, and tried not to think about him. Now when I do, I dont break down into an uncontrollable trainwreck.
