Being uncircumcised is more than normal in fact, 80% of the males on this planet are uncircumcised.

Usually, it takes time to retract your foreskin. Don't force it back or you might damage something. When you are in the bath or shower, put water on the head of your penis and pull it back slowly. You'll likely find smegma, just wash it off and continue. If you made a bit of progress, you can continue another day.

You shouldn't really concern yourself with retracting your foreskin unless you are at least 12, any age before that could be too soon.

At a very young age, the foreskin covers most if the head. As you get older, the foreskin will gradually separate. When u pull back u might find white stuff that feels like small lumps of cheese. Just rinse that off. That is called smegma. If ur old enough like I am, ur foreskin might retract far enough to see some parts of the lower portion of the head. I can't pull mine completely behind my head but some areas of the foreskin has separated far enough so I can see it. the key thing is to be patient. Yes u can pull it back to see how far it goes but once it starts hurting, u don't want to pull any further. You don't want a torn and bleeding foreskin.
