Discussing encounters with friends

Hey, I'm wondering what the etiquette about this is. I recently had sex with a classmate and I want to tell some of my friends but I'm really not sure if it's appropriate and whether or not it will get back and the girl will be offended. I don't want her branded badly, but I would like to let my friends know what are your thoughts? also, i'd kind of be interestd in knowing some of the gossip about my friends but i think they're afraid to share. any thoughts or suggestions?

Be careful who you share these things with, because word could get out about it. But guys and girls both share these things with their friends, its common. I tell my guy friends things and vise versa. Its just something that friends do.

I agree, id tell only my closest friends. I wouldnt want it getting out around school

I discuss my sexual encounter with my friends but for me personally it doesn't matter because nobody knows my boyfriend. In your case I wouldn't recommend it unless you really trust your friends that you tell and make it very clear that she can't find out.
