There's really no definitive answer anyone can give you. I was exactly like you at 13, wondering how long it was going to take. Be patient, it takes a little while, and everyone is different. The random boners are super common. I'm 17 and get them sometimes too. Me and my friends joke a lot about that.

It all depends on the person. I am 14, and I hit puberty fairly early, so did one of my friends. Im like 5'6" to 5'8", have a ton of hair, and a fairly large penis. He has like no pubic hair, no hair besides on his head that I can see, but he is at least 6 feet tall, and has a very large penis, no we havent compared, its just from an accidental look at his underpants when i was turning around. So, as you can see, it really varies on the person. Some people grow alot in the first year, some dont grow much at all. In fact though, puberty really starts when your about 6-8 years old, but it takes until 11-13 for your horomones to really have built up enough and your mind to have matured enough for any physical changes to really appear. So, varies per person. Sorry I couldnt be more specific. Your likely to get leg hair and some pubic hair first, minor groth in the groin, some height, but nothing major in the first year of physical maturing. Probobly wont see much else for another year or two or puberty.

1.Hair Doesnt have a set growth amount. It varies. someone could grow a little over a long period of time or someone else the opposite.
2.Random boners are probably the most normal part of puberty.
3.Again Puberty has no set path. Someone could see immense changes within the first year, where others may not.
Hope this helps :)
