Getting a diagnosis..

Well i think i have a eating problem, i eat quite normally apart from some days i eat very little, and others i throw up whatever i have eaten that day.
I want to find out why im feeling i have to do this. I want to go to the doctors about it but im scared to talk to my mum about it. I would think my mum would understand because her sister (my aunt) had anorexia.

How do i talk to my mum?
Or can i be diagnosed without her knowing?

I don't think your going to get diagnosed without your mother knowing, doctors always tell your parents if your under 18.
It's good that you want to get help for it.
Just sit down with your mother and tell her what's been going on. Try and explain what you feel when it's happening, and tell her that you want help.

I had a problem similar to this with my cutting. So I changed doctors and didn't give them my mums correct information for next of kin. Maybe this is an idea if you think you can't talk to her

I don't have an eating disorder or know anyone close who has so I can't really say anything about telling your mum. Maybe you could talk to your aunt about it first? She's went through people finding out or her telling people so I guess she would have better advise for you that we can give
