So last year this guy asked me out, but I had to decline because my dad thought I was too young to date (14). Over the course of a year he's become one of my best friends, I tell him everything, and he tells me everything. Anyway, he's had a girlfriend for about half a year now. They've never really meshed right for some reason, he almost broke up with her a month ago, but like an idiot I told him not to end it -____- Now..I'm really starting to like him, but I know its awful to go after a guy who has a girlfriend. He likes me too. He left me a note saying I was beautiful, and during an all day thing we did for school we walked around arms linked, then last night at a practice he picked me up constantly and piggy-backed me. We're always like that together. I don't know what to do. I feel so bad. But..y'know, he's not really taken until he has a ring on his finger..ughhhhh help.

Don't break them up. Wait till he leaves her of his own accord :)

The thing is, I feel like I'm already breaking them up :( I don't want to ignore him though

If you feel like your breaking them up simply by being his best friend and he likes you thats not your fault. If she got into the relationship with him knowing that he had a close female friend than that cant be expected to change because she came along.

Also give your feelings a thorough looking at. Make sure that your just not jealous of the girl getting your best friends attention or that you like being liked in that kind of way. Alot of girls have problems distinguishing the source of the attraction.

If you do end up getting together, go slow, you wouldnt want to damage a good friendship like you described if it ends badly.

Hope you figure out what to do. gl
